Welcome to the Xi Chi website!
Xi Chi is the Millersville University local chapter for Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), the Honor Society of Nursing. This site is one of many resources available to members of this prestigious and global network of nurses. Through the Xi Chi chapter website, you can network with chapter members and leadership, participate in chapter discussions and learn about upcoming events.

On April 28, 1996, Millersville University held its first induction ceremony for the Xi Chi chapter of STTI with 58 nurses inducted. Now in our 25th year, the chapter continues to grow and on December 1, 2020, we held our annual induction ceremony welcoming another 36 members to the organization. Congratulations to all of our members including our newest inductees, for their leadership and excellence in academia.

Since Florence Nightingale, nurses have recognized the complex relationship between health and a multitude of social and environmental factors like poverty and pollution or conflict and poor sanitation. While the well-being of humanity and the planet are in jeopardy, nurses around the world are leading initiatives that promote health and sustainability through their holistic approach and patient-centered care.
